‘Tis The Season… For Seasonality? ‘This the Season! This is the time of year we enjoy some extra time with friends and family, get out our sparkly decorations, watch our favorite Christmas movies, and there is a general feeling of brightness and celebration. We celebrate the incarnation of the King of kings at this time of year; the eternal salvation and abundant blessings given to all who believe in Jesus Christ. And with the celebratory mood that this snowy month brings, we get a lot of questions around seasonality in the real estate market. Should we move in the winter? Should we wait until spring? What about my investment property; is winter still a good market for selling? Are people too distracted by Christmas and cold to think about buying and selling property? Great questions! I was recently doing some data analysis on just this topic. The market is shifting and always in flux, so what does the data say regarding seasonality in 2022 (and into 2023)? Well, it certainly depends on your property type and other details relating to the specifics of your sale; however, the trend continues in the direction of our area being one of "all-season selling." The numbers for last year show that many property types are selling at the same rate with similar price and days on market in our winter months (Dec-Mar) as they are when we move into spring (Apr-Jul). So what should you do? How can you plan for a successful move? Call us and we can pull data that relates specifically to your home and neighborhood. We want to position you for the most successful move possible, so allow us to do this work for you and ensure a spectacular outcome for your next adventure. We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and look forward to serving your with excellence for many years to come. We are always happy to help! -Angel

Wow! I think I say this every year, but WOW! I cannot believe we are on the precipice of another new year. As we enjoy the Christmas Season, our thoughts often turn to all of the things we have to do and all the presents we have to buy. But I wonder... maybe this year, we could allow our thoughts to turn to all of the people we care about? As I open Christmas Greetings from family and friend and see posts and photos on social media with all of the people that are dear to me, I am hoping that this year I can take just a moment or two to consider the gift that those people are to me. I don't know about you, but for me, this requires a purposeful pause. As I look at this year's family photos (I love the "family photo Christmas Card", by the way!), I would like to pause, thank God for each one in those photos, and consider the ways they have contributed to my life. I have much to be grateful for: A wonderful husband, the love of family and friends, amazing team members that I could not do this without, the BEST clients, prayerful ministry partners, and the Word that became flesh and dwelt among us. I could go on and on, but I won't. Suffice it to say, I am grateful everyday (even on my crabby days) and you are part of what I am grateful for. This Christmas Season, my wish for you is that you would also purposefully pause... and consider those who mean the most to you. Spend a few minutes here and there (as you check off those to-do's) considering the people who bless your life. Merry Christmas and many blessings to you in the 2022! From Our Team To You… A December to Remember?
December is a month to look back on 2020 To consider, with gratitude, that God has provided for us plenty To remember our clients, our family, our friends To be thankful these relationships seem to have no ends December is a month to look back on our year We, as a team, have many reasons to cheer We have enjoyed helping sellers, we’ve had fun helping buyers We hope that YOU all have enjoyed these fun flyers! December is a month to look forward with hope To plan something amazing and not merely “cope” To cherish all our blessings and those whom we hold dear To wish you “A Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!” We love November! Cold as it may be, we are reminded by this month that even though the winter is upon us here in Minnesota, we can rejoice and be grateful for all of our blessings as we look forward to an entire day devoted to Thanksgiving. As I write this, I have to ask myself… “Are you acting as though you are grateful for all of your blessings?” It is one thing to consider gratitude and to say I am an overall grateful person, yet it is an entirely different thing to actually live each day in gratitude. I have to be honest, as I woke up this morning, I was grateful for the Smartwool socks that came in the mail-joyful, even! About a half an hour later, I started thinking of all of the tasks and “to-do’s” that I am behind on right now, and I nearly (perhaps literally…) had a meltdown. And then… I had to write this article… And I realized that if I am going to say that I have gratitude in my life, my life should reflect that belief, even in the smallest of struggles. I have to say, as I consider these things, that I am grateful for the struggles. The struggles refine us, grow us, give us purpose… and if we can weave our way back to gratitude, we realize that there is great joy in the journey. We at the Angela Sadat Group are so grateful for all of YOU who touch our lives, support our business and encourage us to stay grateful for each and every client we are privileged to help. We are grateful for the times this business is easy, and also grateful for when we struggle-the struggles have only served to make us better and more joyful as we seek to serve with excellence! May you have a beautiful November, full of thanksgiving for each and every blessing, and even for the struggles along the way. Happy Thanksgiving! We appreciate your connections and we can’t thank you enough for your referrals and your support! Merry Christmas to YOU! I was recently in a class that centered on mindset and personal growth, and we go onto the topic of Gratitude. Did you know that studies have been done on gratitude and how it affects a person in their daily life? One study actually found that if you write down 5 things you are grateful every morning when you wake up, that your brain will start to naturally scan the world for things to be grateful for?
A couple of examples:
Considering the craziness all around us, and the busyness of life, we can all benefit from scanning the world for ways to be grateful. If you made those calls (I hope you did!), I am sure you are feeling the “warm and fuzzy” of what you thought might be an awkward conversation that perhaps ended in happy tears or heartwarming conversations around gratitude. Blessings to you this holiday season; I am grateful for YOU! |
